Set on the shores of scenic Green Lake with commanding views of Whistler and Blackcomb, this full exterior renovation redefined a classic lakeside property with a bold, architectural edge.
The transformation began with full demolition of dated exterior elements and culminated in the installation of low-profile, James Hardie Bond Black paneling—delivering a sharp, contemporary silhouette. The original stone facade was selectively retained to provide grounding texture and contrast.
Key structural modifications included reshaping the main entry stairs from arched to linear for a cleaner, more modern profile. The original pergola was removed and replaced with a reimagined overhang, enhancing both form and functionality.
This project is a study in contrast—old and new, rugged and refined—executed with precision and intention. Before, during, and after visuals highlight the dramatic evolution of this alpine estate.
